Premium Member chadman Posted May 25, 2017 Author Premium Member Share Posted May 25, 2017 I'm always down for ACH. Not sure if Newks is open on a Tuesday tho. If it's hot id say stay coastal. Premium Member steveb Posted May 25, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted May 25, 2017 My wife has eye surgery next Wed, so that's going to sideline me for a few, but early June is looking good. I might be good to go as early as the 5th. Weekdays are still best for me. Sounds good, perhaps tues 6th, 7th, or 8th to avoid a busy Monday? I'll be on my way to Colorado for a motorcycle rally by then. Hopefully we'll schedule another get together later in the summer.

Hopefully we'll schedule another get together later in the summer. steve, what rally, where in CO? I'll be going the the MSTA STAR Rally in Colorado Springs (6/11-15) http://ridemsta.com/srblog/star-2017/ . The MSTA is a good group and have several cool day rides planned during the rally. I'll be going a little early and meeting up with my wife in Denver (she'll fly up), then we'll enjoy the rally and make a leisurely ride back home while checking out the Nat'l Parks etc. in CO & Utah. Should be a fun trip!
Premium Member chadman Posted June 3, 2017 Author Premium Member Share Posted June 3, 2017 Roger that June 6th good for a ride...now to determine a destination. ... So far, I'm still looking good for the 6th. Looks like 90's in the valleys and 70's on the coast. Not sure where to ride - don't really care. I'd love to do ACH, but not if it's hot. Should we post this as a separate ride thread? Premium Member chadman Posted June 5, 2017 Author Premium Member Share Posted June 5, 2017 Alright Chadman...let's ride. All FJ09 SoCal riders: please feel free to join us on a day ride tomorrow Tuesday June 6th. We need to decide a route and meeting time...anyone interested in a ride tomorrow? Good weather and not too hot...coast or mountains...it's all good. Is Crest open to Wrightwood? We could meet at the ACH Shell at like 8:30 or so and do lunch in Wrightwood or the high desert. jsp
ACH is open all the way. On Sunday, June 4th we rode from La Canada to Cajon Junction, crossed I-15 on the 138 passed Silverwood Lake up to Crestline and down 18. ACH has some rocks here and there from Newcomb's Ranch to Wrightwood. Nothing hairy, just pay attention. 354 miles round trip. john

Guest bruinfj09guy
Dang, vatos! Wish I was going! Joel mentioned the ride to me and I see Chad has posted it in the facebook group. Most excellent! Perhaps on the next one. I did ACH with a member of another forum last week and had a blast (like always)! Came down it for a change; I usually ride up. Anyhow. Have fun!!!
