Anyone find that alot of bikes can't keep up 0-80?

Recommended Posts

My FZ-09 (samebike minus your farkles) Hauls arse. Yesterday I took a GSX-R600 until 85 MPH and even then, he didn't really start pulling away until 110, when his powerband kicked in.

alot of bikes get surprised in the lower RPM's in how much power these bikes make down low, and once you learn how to keep that front wheel down, we are at a serious advantage 0-100.

Any other experiences? Oh, and of course, this was all done on a "Closed Circut", cough cough.

I had no problem keeping up with an R6 this weekend, but the GSXR1000 could still take me hard on the straights and exiting the turns. It doesn't hurt that he is a really fast rider also!!! That is fine with me. I posted that I think I ride the F-Jay as fast as my previous 2007 R1. A friend of mine that was on the ride this past Saturday read that and said, tell me something I do not know (I am paraphrasing, but that made my day). I love this bike (have I posted that before?) :)

It would be really disappointing if an 850 couldn't keep up with a 600.
But the 600 is a race bike that was designed to handle. Just saying. Plus I am slow. (rofl)
