lefty80883
All the intakes were in spec, mostly near or a little less than nominal. All of the exhaust were out of spec on the tight side. There is a lot of pieces to remove, but once the radiator is out it's not too bad. I was going to change the plugs, air filter and coolant anyway. I only had to remove the exhaust cam and fortunately I had enough of the right size shims around to restore the clearances. The old plugs (originals) still looked good. I reused the cam cover gasket and the gasket for the cct. I probably have a total of 7 hours in it. The service manual is must for me. It's too bad the manual doesn't have a section that includes all the steps in one place. If you drain the gas tank before you start, try to remember to put gas back in once you're done. That way you won't wonder why it starts for a second than quits!
koth442
Kind of a thread jack here, I'm curious who else has mileage like this and what their valve clearances were? '15 FJ09

nsmiller
Are you using a stock tune? Or do you have an ECU flash? Just for reference.
