26,600 so I checked the valve clearance.

All the intakes were in spec, mostly near or a little less than nominal.
All of the exhaust were out of spec on the tight side. There is a lot of
pieces to remove, but once the radiator is out it's not too bad. I was
going to change the plugs, air filter and coolant anyway. I only had
to remove the exhaust cam and fortunately I had enough of the right
size shims around to restore the clearances. The old plugs (originals)
still looked good. I reused the cam cover gasket and the gasket for the
cct. I probably have a total of 7 hours in it. The service manual is must
for me. It's too bad the manual doesn't have a section that includes all
the steps in one place. If you drain the gas tank before you start, try to
remember to put gas back in once you're done. That way you won't wonder
why it starts for a second than quits! ::)
