My new Terry Adcox seat

Recommended Posts

Just received a seat from Terry, he is a pleasure to work with. I don't have a ride report yet, I don't get to ride that often, but when I do, 300 to 350 miles for a day ride or 900 - 1000 mile for a 3 day weekend is what we shoot for

Have you had time to put some miles on your new Terry Adcox seat? If so what are your thoughts.
I got my seat at the beginning of the year and have not put as many miles as I would like, maybe 1500, but it is the best seat I've tried (Corbin, Sargent, Sargent with nose job, and Seat Concepts Touring).
Back in May, I had 5 days of riding, back to back, with 6-8 hours per day and no pain.

Do you feel all the "edges" in the seat? Looks nicely made!

I had that concern because my hips are sensitive to edges.  When I spoke with Terry Adcox about this, he said he could "roll" the edges.  There was no difference in cost.  If there is a down side to rolled edges, it might be less area to plant your backside.

well I finally got my seat..took a bit longer than expected. It is much higher than my sargent seat but way more comfy. The only problem is... I'm tippy toed now at a stop. Only put a few kms on it so far but it's a weird feeling seat. It doesn't feel like I'm sitting on a regular seat...it feels great so far.

When I get some more miles on it I will give a better review of it. Build quality seems really nice.

Just took a first ride today on my new Terry Adcox seat. WHAT A PLEASURE. Although I did go very far today my 1st impressions were astounding. Hats off to Terry for a job very well done!. I can repeat what others have said about Terry and his wife, they are a pleasure to deal with, great value and a happy backside!

UPDATE: I just spend the weekend on my Terry Adcox seat and can report I am extremely happy. I have never been this comfortable on any motorcycle in the past, ever. I highly recommend anybody with an FJ-09 or Tracer to send your seat to Terry!
