bowlin01
Nice pics. I see you have some reflectors on the panniers. We don’t have those in UK Vic ...and HUGE indicators/ blinkers, we don't have them in the UK either. Are you able to swap them out after purchase or is that illegal? Hope you enjoy the bike. Cheers Steve

Cheers Steve Department of Transportation loves those blinkers here. My bikes not even here yet and I already purchased new ones front and rear. The stock are the worst I’ve ever seen. Illegal? Maybe, but I’ve never knew of anyone getting a ticket. Here in NC they aren’t required, but if they are on your bike they need to work as strange as that is. koth442
The turn signals can be swapped. In CA the rear signals need to be 9 inches apart and the fronts 16 inches apart. That's probably a national standard, but I'm not 100% sure. '15 FJ09

gerdawg
tossed on some new LEDs the other day, they don't look too bad! My brother did comment they are harder to see but I'm not surprised as my LED flashing brake lights could cause a seizure. azokie
Whistler. I see you have a top box which looks like a Givi V46. Is that correct or what top box is it? Also, if a Givi, how did you get it mounted to the tail rack. Really interested as I have a Givi top box coming off my FJR as soon as the Tracer 900GT arrives--anytime soon. Supporting Member whistler Posted August 13, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted August 13, 2018 That is a V46, Azokie (and it came off my 2013 FJR before I traded it in for the GT). It's mounted to a Givi adapter plate that's mounted to the SW-Motech Alu-Rack and frame. Replaced the OEM grab rails with the Motech frame and Alu-Rack when I got the bike. Being a 120-mile round-trip commuter, a top box is much more practical for me as opposed to side cases. Got the SW-Motech frame, Alu-Rack and adapter plate from TwistedThrottle.com. Take note, though . . . the topbox frame, Alu-Rack and Givi adapter plate are listed under the FJ-09 '15-'17, not the 900GT. Also, please read my Aug 03 reply to your initial post re: this subject. It'll describe the minor fitting i.e., trimming a small amount of plastic from the OEM side covers, that fitting the SW-Motech mounting tabs to the bike's bolt holes entails. This pic shows the tabs on the left and right sides of the underseat tray, and the Gorilla tape I used to close up the trimmed tab areas after installation. This is a pic of the Alu-Rack with the SW-Motech-specific Givi adapter plate bolted to the Alu-Rack. Hope this helps. 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT (Annabelle) 2013 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 (Juliette) 2013 Yamaha FJR 1300 (Rachel) 2008 Suzuki Bandit 1250S (Fiona) 2006 Honda VFR800 (Jenny) 2005 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 (Hannah) 2003 Honda Shadow Sabre VT1100 (Veronica)

thepmh
Already at 1200 miles, and have done a few mods: tail tidy, integrated tail light, new foot pegs, rim reflectors, radiator guard, front fender extender, dash protector. Still on order are LED front signals
