Start with some small holes, try the sound, then enlarge them if you want to. Red 2015 Tracer, UK spec (well, it was until I started messing with it...) I kinda went the other way and stuffed the baffle with stainless steel scouring pad. It took the boom out and made it sound a bit like an angry big bore dirt bike. Still sounds great at throttle, but quiets a bit at cruising speed. Something to try if you still have the baffle. Drop a coin in there to plug the hole... or not. YMMV.
