Scorpion Serket Taper Stainless slip-on

Oh yeah, while I'm thinking about it, I have an OEM header cut and ready for a Scorpion Serket- it's got a little more than 15mm behind the sensor port. If anyone's interested let me know, not looking to make any $ off of it

Very interested in hearing how it runs after the exhaust and flash, I have heard that the Graves system with a quality fuel map makes a VERY noticeable difference.  I believe @norcal616 has a Graves full exhaust?

Yes Graves Exhaust using Woolich is route I went... It's been almost 4yrs since 2WDW created my tune as it was the 1st time they had a request for using Woolich vs FTECU... Nothing wrong with FTECU but at the time the Woolich race kit was hard to beat in value... No separate tune needed for running with/wo baffle... I also have AIS block off plates... 

Bikes will have lower running temps in general when the big ole heater box(cat convert) is removed...

Thought hard about the Woolich tune, decided on Ivan partly because you don't need the block-off plates with his tune. All the tunes from the major players look good; if someone has the funds, I don't know why they wouldn't get their ECU re-flashed, night and day how they run afterwards.

Yep, figure losing the CAT will help on the heat front- hoping she runs even cooler after I get the Graves mounted.

Just for clarity, none of the tuners require AIS block-off plates. They can all toggle the same bits in the ECU. The plates are just a more reliable way of closing the system... and they unclutter the valve cover quite a bit. 🙂

I left all the AIS gubbins in place and simply placed a rubber bung in the tube coming from the airbox. Job done!  A classic trick is to push a marble of the appropriate size into the tube.

That'll suffice. Interesting how this was all supposed to be just plug-and-play... it was that damned red ring that did it. 😏

I guess the salient part is "...can all toggle..." but not all do? Curious, why would mechanically blocking off the AIS be more reliable than turning off the function at the ECU? Pretty sure I've read about the plates loosening over time and causing popping in a post by a popular Tuner.....

De-cluttering is good.

Anyways, all I know about the FJ-09/Tracer ( different ECUs)  is what I've read ( a shitload, I spend inordinate amounts of time scouring the intertubes for info of all sorts), and few hundreds of miles on a re-flash compared to 5K on the stock tune.

Tuners disable the AIS (if you want them to) by getting the ECU to force the AIS solenoid valve to remain closed. This is an easy way to close the system, and doesn't require any surgery on the bike. The solenoid valve can still leak or fail... I know, not likely. I simply chose to blank out the ports and remove components that no longer serve any purpose. Just another way of getting there.

@betoneyI'll put up a review when I've got some miles on the pipe. First impressions from a quick ride: Holy Wheelie , Batman. Bike is scary faster; gotta be at least 10 more ponies. Sounds freaking awesome, too. Running really good on Ivan's stock tune; curious to see else what he can do.

I highly approved of this exhaust choice... Them welds are pornographic tho... Headers/midpipe barely weight more than skimpy lingerie...

That exhaust looks amazing. Is there any reason to put the O2 sensor back in, or is it just to fill the hole? And what is the other blanked off port for ?

Red 2015 Tracer, UK spec (well, it was until I started messing with it...)

It's for a wideband o2 sensor for tuning/data logging...

I will try to post some pics later today on how it looks(colors) after approx 9k miles... IIRC it took about 2.5k hard miles to really set the color of the pipes...
