With a heated jacket liner, heated grips and heated seat it's not bad. My biggest gripe is having to leave my face shield partially open to keep it from fogging up. I've been doing the same thing until last week. Seattle has had snow and ice on the roads for over a week. And another big storm just arrived today which is supposed to last until mid next week. Not even sure I'll be able to get to work in my car on Monday.
magnatic
Went for a walk by Niagara Falls last weekend. It was sunny and hovering around 0°C but the wind coming down the Niagara River made it bearable for only a short time. Supporting Member betoney Posted February 10, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted February 10, 2019 The Pacific Northwest has gotten hit pretty good with snow and sub-freezing temperatures lately, with more snow expected throughout the coming week. This has given me ample idle time to plan and rework some routes for this summer. Google Maps is working overtime! I'm thinking of expanding the ride time in Colorado to not only include the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway but now also the Continental Divide area including Loveland and Independence Passes, and maybe if scheduling works in our favor, a ride up Pikes Peak! 1 1 ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***

Premium Member DavidS Posted February 12, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted February 12, 2019 No riding for me today, can't find the road........ Well I posted a picture on Friday afternoon, and it has continued to snow here in Seattle ever since. I am pretty much stuck at my house (with plenty of food and supplies) Here is the original picture I posted on Friday: Below is the same shot as the one above, but taken a few minutes ago: And the back yard: The snow is just under 3 feet deep, and covers my entire property.

Guest
The 10 day forecast is for more cold weather. Is it ever going to get warm? I need more than motorcycle forums.
Supporting Member roadrash83 Posted February 24, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted February 24, 2019 I think it's time to move to Florida where the salt is in the air and not all over the road. He who dies with the most toys wins.

I rode on New Years Day, and the temperatures haven’t been a problem, but the grey, nasty, rainy days seem to have been non-stop. I’m hoping this weekend’s sun is a sign of more good things to come.

Supporting Member texscottyd Posted March 5, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted March 5, 2019 @koth442 - I know, right? We had a hard freeze here overnight... not what I would expect in early March on the Gulf Coast. We will experience all four seasons in a single week!
