tracerben
I think there must be some mistake. The toolkit my bike came with has a two sided wrench (12mm and 14mm), a spanner for the shock and an extension. That's it. I didn't even get one of those crappy two sided screwdrivers. Is this the stock tool kit or did the dealer swipe some of the tools I was supposed to get?

I had the bike a year before I realized that. (zzz) "It doesn't matter who walks in, you know the joke is still the same" Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. BBB
Son of a gun. There's a rusty allen key and a cheap screwdriver under the seat! Edited for accuracy ? Red 2015 Tracer, UK spec (well, it was until I started messing with it...)
Premium Member sirepair Posted November 10, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted November 10, 2018 The toolkit supplied with Honda's ST1300 consists of an allen wrench and small piece of foam that no one is sure what it's for! Probably to wipe off your credit card before you hand to the tow truck driver.
Dark&Stormy
Yeah its lacking. They dont even give you enough tools to do a chain adjustment. Even my old bargain bin Kawasaki came with a low quality tool kit that you could use to adjust your chain. I made my own tool kit that i take on long trips. tracerben
I too am an ex-st1300 rider. Great bike (I had more than one) but I got sick of the plastic and the weight (and the msrp went through the roof). I wonder how many other ex-st1300 owners switched over the the FJ.... She was comfortable, quiet, offered great protection in bad wx and faster than hell. But ohhh that 750 pounds... Premium Member alejandro Posted November 15, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted November 15, 2018 If you don't call it "a toolkit" but rather "a meager handful of complementary tools", you'll be a lot less disappointed.
tracerben
Right. It's a suspension adjustment kit!
