Backed off the shock preload one notch and backed off the rebound/compression a half turn. This shock has that feature now. Trying to soften up rough in town riding without sacrificing the great feel on the twisties.. Surface streets here are terrible. So far so good. Took the edge off and still handled great in the hills. A tank of fuel later and I ended up at Elk Grove Power Sports. Curios about the electric bikes from Zero. They also carry MV Agusta and Triumph. Only looked at the Zero. If I go back Wednesday I'll check out the other bikes. The Zero would be great for commuting, but pricey. Set up a test ride for Wednesday. Told him I'm not buying just looking. Ha. Looking at all kinds of bikes. So far the FZ-10 is at the top of the list. Total opposite of the Zero, but I don't ride worrying about gas mileage. Not replacing the FJ. It's a keeper. Just looking a couple of years down the road.
