indyfjrider
I was in the garage tonight adjusting the beam heights with the adjuster screws when I noticed that when I had the high beam activated, both LED bulbs were on. I thought someone posted that the bulbs were asymmetrical. In other words, one bulb for low and one for high. I turned the bike on and off several times to confirm it wasn't a fluke. Both bulbs on when high beam is activated.
FigJam-OhNine
That's normal. Low beam is always on. High beam toggles on and off. Last bike was like this too.
Premium Member wessie Posted March 21, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted March 21, 2015 Yep, that's how it is configured. I had a ride in the dark last week. The single lamp is a bit rubbish but with both lamps illuminated the visibility is excellent. If I was to do a lot of night riding I would adjust the main beam so I could use it all of the time i.e. lower it so oncoming vehicles don't get upset. This signature is left blank as the poster writes enough pretentious bollocks as it is.
