Soullancer
You noticed any problems of the concrete floor (chipping pieces) when putting the bike on it's centerstand?
Dodgy Knees
No, floors solid but paint peeling. Good cheap fix. Warmer and softer than concrete.

My son and I recently converted his house to laminate flooring, when we tore the carpet out I kept a 10’x14’ section for my garage. It keeps the garage a bit warmer when working in the winter and it’s quieter when I drop wrenches. I still keep an 18””x18” carpet sample under the center stand. 2 ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***
Supporting Member texscottyd Posted October 21, 2019 Supporting Member Share Posted October 21, 2019 The floor of my shop is epoxy painted, but for the ‘regular garage’ I’ve just thrown an old area rug down where I keep some of the bikes parked. It is especially useful for bikes like the FJ that stay on a center stand, as it keeps the bare concrete from potentially getting scratched up. Not fancy, but functional... 1
kaia
I got this mat from Amazon for about $90, as a barrier from water / oil / whatnot soaking into the concrete. It's lasted awesome for over three years.
