probably won't solve your buzzy peg problem, but its a nice adventure peg.

FJR pegs will fit the fj-09 and they are said to be much more comfortable then the stock fj-09 peg. wider and have a rubber cover

Those look like they would be better on a WRF then a FJ. Hate to hit my shin on those....yeeeeoooowch!

Cheers!

I mentioned changing out the front sprocket for a plain jane one(no noise damper) and I guess this is the last thing people will do or not even do, after chasing the vibrations doing foot pegs, handlebars, etc

I must be cursed because my FJ has next to no vibrations. At all. I often ponder at various speeds wondering what everyone else feel who do experience issues.

Mine didn't either, but the left foot peg was more noticeable than right side, but I knew it was chain related vibrations...

A chain is ment to ride on its inner rollers not the actual outside chain plates which is producing the odd bass like clunky vibrations due to the "rubber noise damping ring"... and I also found the "rubber damping ring" kinda masked the chain "feeling" I normally feel or sense if it's tight/lose/binding/or the alignment is off...

My Tracer GT gets the buzzy pegs at high rpms. I know its not Harley bad, but wanted to see how some rubber covered pegs might help. Anyone know where I might find some? I've seen a video with Tracer accessories that show them, but no link. Thanks!

Have tried the genuine OEM FJR pegs (my previous bike) and although a bit more comfortable, the FJR pegs are quite a bit longer, not an issue for me in terms of scraping but they interfered with my legs when walking the bike backwards or forwards from a seated position so have swapped back to the standards pegs, expensive lesson. There's an extensive discussion on this subject elsewhere on this forum.

I have just fitted the Yamaha MT09 adventure foot pegs, finally joy at last over the OEM alloy pegs which I think were more like from the R6. Wider and with the main rubber grip insert you notice the difference, only thing I noticed now was the rear brake pedal felt a little lower but that will easily be remedied

With the puig trail pegs I have to raise both the clutch shifter and rear brake.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I want to assume that the peg mounting set up on the 2019 Tracer is the same as the earlier FJ09/Tracers? No, the buzz is not really that bad, but I don't really need metal pegs & if it helps with the vibration a bit I think it would be worth a try. Interesting that johnmark101 mentions that an ECU reflash helps with the vibration. Wonder why? Certainly game for some of the other benefits that I've read about with a reflash.
