It’s worth following Kardesign... I really like a lot of the concept renderings he comes up with. Yes!!! I had an 81 GPz550D1 (first GPz with dual shocks and air-assisted fork), still love that style. I love real classic bikes (pre-1970) too. The new Z900RS is nice too...

I like what Suzuki did with the new Katana retro bike, but I REALLY like these design concepts (Kardesign again) of a modern GS1150E. I owned a red & black 1986 GS1150E (still ranks as one of the favorites I’ve owned), so I admit to being a bit biased on this one... Even so, I like that GPz update even more.

yamtracergaz
Having had a 2013,2018 and 2021 ninja 1000 and the latest versys, why have i now got a 2020 tracer 900 GT,the ninja 1000's are neither sports and definitely not tourers, even with 40mm bar risers on the bars are still way too low to be a tourer especially two up,the latest ninja 1000 has a seat that is possibly 3 times thicker than the older models BUT if you are heavy after an hour you start to sink in the seat as its far too soft and you feel like you are sitting on the frame,me and the wife were 200 miles from home after being out on it for hours,we had to stop every 50 miles as it was so uncomfortable, the tracer has the perfect bar, peg, seat position, the versys 1000 is so much heavier than the ninja with a "detuned version"of the same engine, you would think a heavier bike would have at least the same 140bhp engine as the ninja but no a paltry 118bhp for a bike that weighs over 250kgs,the versys is just not worth the money and put a topbox on and it gets a nasty weave at 90mph plus, this lot costs me a shedload of money and my current tracer is far better than the lot of them all it needs is ohlins suspension, which i am currently getting fitted,iv'e even had the latest tracer 9gt but gone back to this one. I test rode the supercharged ninja 1000 £27,000 english pounds and the engine sounded like a bag of spanners, horrible thing brought it back to the dealer after 20 mins, screen way too low, bars too low and sounds horrible. Tim16
Our group is like a mixed bag of nuts…Goldwing, R1250 RT, Ninja 1000SX, my Tracer, and a Can Am Spyder RT. Fuel stops are almost always made based on the Ninja’s schedule. I’m glad it’s no longer me on my FZ07.
