thewrenchbender
Am 6’ 2” 33” inseam, running 24” Madstad at almost FWD-most (closest to vertical) position. Was having issues with the angle adjustment “blowing back”. Dusted off the 3d printer and made a couple blocks. Did have to pop the snap rings off and remove the knobs completely to install. Center of the radius on the knob ended up just a little too high. These fall apart maybe will tweak MK2 mod 2 a little...
Premium Member keithu Posted August 5, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted August 5, 2020 Nice! I had the same issue with my 26" Madstad. I just put some blue Locktite on the adjuster knobs and haven't had that particular problem again.
Paulo Cz
Hi there. Can you put pictures from your 26 madstad? Best regards.

Is a pic in the “tracer 900 for long rides” thread of what I think is a 26”. Top edge is about at the level of the chin band on my helmet. I useta run my FJR screen about 2” higher-not planning on going taller depending how this winter goes-haven’t has any cold weather time yet (just got it). Premium Member keithu Posted August 6, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted August 6, 2020 This is my bike with the 26 Madstad. It's pretty big but the airflow is excellent.
smckenzie
I was having the same problem at highway speed. Had it set at about 62 degrees and it kept blowing back to 50s. I took the knob apart and noticed notches in the bracket. Set the adjusting screw into a notch and then tightened. I will let you know how that works when I can get back out on the expressway.
