The decals are four pieces and are slightly larger to accommodate larger wheel rim sizes. You cut what you don't use. They are high quality vinyl. If you are mounting with spoons then they could get marred if not careful. Tire machine no issues.

Seat Concepts Full Carbon Rider and Pillion Seat Installation:
So I received my product yesterday and boy was I stoked. I couldn't install till later at night due to work getting in the way!!
Started with the Pillion seat:
Used this for staple removal, won't tear the fabric like a screwdriver and has a piece that will lift off the staple easierA9406493-835F-4F6C-8F88-E8884C93AFE5_zpswnvl6pyh.jpg
For some reason the pillion seat has the waterproofing plastic on it while the Rider seat doesn't.AA36F1F3-0517-49F8-9D80-ACFEAC300203_zpsvywejoo3.jpg

Very easy, but was using proper stapler.  One man job then:

Went out for a short 45 minute ride and I can feel that it will be better. Less squishing of the "parts". I can feel the buttocks being cradled better and with more support. I will go on a longer ride some time soon, but I know it will break in well, just like my other Seat Concepts seat on my K L R which easily goes for 600km and my butt doesn't feel like its on a bed of hot rocks LOL.

FINALLY!! After ordering in March with my bike, the side bag supports arrived and I could install them. No instructions were given, so I had to puzzle it together. Simple enough:

All finished:

I had ordered the 3 piece lock set from Yamaha for the side bags and top bag, but I tried for over 2 hours, and it seems the 3 key set is incompatible with the top bag as you cannot remove the key when you lock the top bag?!?!?! I will have to call my dealer and see what they can do. Anyone else have this issue?

I've been putting all my mods on this thread, instead of thread specific areas. I'm hoping there is no issue with it.
Well my Madstad 20" screen in light grey tint arrived. Say what you will about the looks, it has definitely grown on me even before making the plunge to purchase. It's the real engineering behind the robobracket that make the difference by miles.
I can actually hear my engine now!!
I took it only for a short run due to time constraints but it is a keeper.
I had a Madstad bracket on my Super Tenere and it was miles better than stock.
Installation was about 15 minutes including removal of original shield and the cosmetic portion of the hand guards. Definitely more robust setup with the metal brace included in the kit.
Oh and for reminder I'm 5'7". I have the shield in a lower position right now, but I'm still fine tuning it.
Here are the photos.

For those following my thread on farkling my bike, I have the full Yamaha bag system.
When purchasing the keys for the bag system do not order the 3 key system as it won't work for the top box and bags as the top box requires a different lock cylinder mechanism. There is a special top box lock for the Yamaha top boxes. Order only the 2 lock system for the side bags and a separate rekeyable lock for the top box.
Now you can rekey all your bags to the main ignition key! You need a slide rule to measure the key to set the lock pins correctly.

Didnt know they sell a two lock system. I have only seen them sold in threes. Do you have a link where you can buy the two lock system?

You are correct, the keys must be purchased as a set of 3 for the side cases as there is no two key set. The dealer even had a locksmith verify that a different lock cylinder mechanism is required for the top boxes. In the end it works out better as one can use a single key to open all boxes and also turn on the bike.

How slippery is the all carbon cover? I'm going to buy this just not sure I really want the grip cover but want to make sure I'm not going to slide off the ass end of the bike when I crank on the throttle :D

It is definitely more slippery than stock. You will slide under hard acceleration. The material will eventually break in and be less so after a few thousand km. I have the same material on my other bike.
My wife is concerned about it though, especially on braking, she tends to slide into me. Might want to get the gripper material for back seat or keep it OEM.

Yamaha branded sliders came in. Super light. Not too sure how much protection they would have in a situation.
Do you have a part nr. for these sliders? Cheers
Part number is: 1RC-F11D0-T0-00

Thanks. Do you happen to know if the gripper material is more rough that the OEM material or about the same?
