Supporting Member Heli ATP Posted May 11, 2021 Supporting Member Share Posted May 11, 2021 Do a search on eBay for 'Blank Key Uncut Fit For Yamaha Tracer 900 GT' and any locksmith can make copies of your original. I've used some of these on my 2017 when rekeying the panniers to match the ignition, and they are stronger than the OEM keys.

So, you can't rely on a locksmith at all. Call dealership for key cut and program whenever needed.

I’m guessing, as he said “program” that he’s referring to transponder keys. 2 Red 2015 Tracer, UK spec (well, it was until I started messing with it...) skipperT
Once new chip key is in hand, any owner can program the new key. However, you MUST have the red master key in order to program new chip keys. HTH, Skip
