What bar end mirrors did you use?  I just got my Madstad and am having the same issues you mention.

Been running one with a small wing off and on for years. Sometimes if I'm going on a long trip I'll throw a taller ErMax on if I feel I will need more protection. 

How is the ErMax with buffeting?  I am 6'1" and looking for a better touring screen.
