Brand new 2016 FJ09 - zero mileage
- Factory heated grips
- Grip Puppies (gonna love these things!)
- Custom Vibranator installation (machined to work with KTM handguards)
- FJR clutch side switchblock (for factory-like plug n'play throttle-by-wire Mccruise cruise control system)
- Eastern Beaver three (switched) circuit fuse panel (for Corbin seat heater, electrified tank bag, ?)
- Custom Black anodized rear foot pegs
- Custom Black anodized euro MT-09 Adventure rider foot pegs (similar to Super Tenere)
- Yamaha rear carrier
- Shad mounting plate (customized to bolt directly to plate-less Yamaha rear carrier)
- Shad 48L topcase (with backrest)
- T-Rex frame sliders (customized/machined gen2 FZ1 units from my old bike to fit the FJ09)
- Corbin seat (with customized harness to connect to Eastern Beaver accessory fuse panel)
- Motodynamic integrated tail light (removed stock fender and signals)
- Motodynamic front flush turn signals
- Givi D2122S windscreen
- "De-pinstriped" side graphics (ugly red pinstripes had to go!)
- Custom UV resistant, two step, bright dipped black re-anodized Ride-it CNC levers (have an extra set to sell)
That's a impressive list! And to do all that with 0 miles - wow! Just reassemble and leave it in your dining room as beautiful moto-art!
Seriously though - since money appears to be no object on this , one of the best things you could do is pull the ECU when you get the tank off and ship it to 2WD. It make the triple perfect to match the rest of your bike.

Installed the new redesigned strainer cover (oil pan).
Thanks to com3 for the how to, but I didn't find the other 685 bolts he mentions.
Thanks to ulewz for the Link to mrcycles.com. They had the parts cheap and delivered to me in 5 days.
Overtorqued drain plug is a bad memory now, life is good

Thanks , I've opted to go ahead and replace with the updated 2016 strainer cover (oil pan).
I have a torque wrench I just failed to use it.The thread size is M14X1.5Helli-coil part number 5544-14 and it comes with 3 or 4 inserts.

Hey josh I've done the same thing. Need to invest in a good torque wrench ? . Could you tell me which helli coil kit you used?Make sure you don't over tighten the oil drain plug, I guess I did and pulled all the aluminums threads. FML- Helli coil repair kit 70.00, new oil 65.00. What a expensive lesson learned. -

I, like you, have been cursed with size 12 feet since puberty. With the proper positive outlook and therapy, as well as good sizing decisions, you can learn to live with this aflection and go forward with a full and happy life. No surgery necessary.
surgery?Anybody with size 12 feet have a recommendation?
If you are Also cursed with a wider foot as I am, try the TCX brand size 46. They have a wider toe box and fit my foot well.

Careful now, your going to start a rush of request to join us in Dixie! Welcome to the forum!I refuse to submit until you put Virginia in the South-east -
That little piece of foam sucks 3 to 4 horsepower out as proved on the Dyno according to http://fj-09.org/thread/1189/fj-09-flash-ready-updated?page=3 . Plus it really does sound better.
alternatively , makes an ideal home for a family of small rodentsI'm wondering if the power gains are worth pulling the tank again - the foam looks like it keeps out leaves, twigs and small furry animals that may otherwise get sucked in...
in spring I have known people complain the bike will not start and then found the airbox is where their hamster decided to move to, spiders found a lovenest or a dormouse is hibernating there.
Spray for bugs and put out the rat traps - just do the mod when you reflash and won't be disappointed!!!
-
Yes. It sounds great with the mod!

I'm thinking the Akro Ti is what I want to do next - don't want obnoxious loud and I've heard with the baffle in it sounds much better BUT not much louder than stock. Hard to tell from YouTube clips. What do you think?Akropovic Titanium - baffle in. Flash covers that. -
Me I'm in west Tennessee. Check out the FJ-org member map link at top of forum page.
