Fitted Yamaha OEM softbags, missing the plastic buckles to keep them extra secure, need to find some in a store locally, which is proving more challenging than expected.
-
Installed Givi crash bars, and mounted Rivco black anti-vibration pegs to them for those long distance cruises. Just under 2 months of ownership and the bike is near complete.
Will be doing another post on all of the mods so I can keep track of them as time goes on.

Installed the Cruizin cruise control today, went without a hitch besides figuring out where all of those fairing bolts went. Cruise programming went effortlessly first try, and didn't even have to make any adjustments.
Talk about a weird feeling engaging it for the first time! Did an hour ride afterwards and wow does it make those longer cruises so much more enjoyable.

Cleaned the wheels (Gunk engine degreaser works miracles.), installed my Ram mount x grip which is mounted from the handlebar clamp bolt, fitted an OEM luggage rack and soft bags. Rain-X'd the shield and mirrors. Cruizin's cruise is going on Tuesday, can't wait!

Mounted a puig wind deflector on my Givi screen, Yamaha OEM soft bags came in the mail today, purchased the mounting kit for them today. Love the size of them as they're not too big and look great on the bike, I'll keep them on all the time.

Much appreciated!

Nope! haha. Found it from an online retailer for $860 shipped.
Got a link?

Got my Two Brothers Black Series exhaust installed today. It's very loud, but sounds absolutely fantastic under WOT. And it looks downright sexy (Since running 100 miles on it, the header has a nice golden hue to it now). For longer multi-day trips, I am going to install a baffle, there's no way I'll survive otherwise.
Dang that's beautiful. Did you sell a kidney for it?

Installed a set of eBay shorty levers, and practiced my wheelies

I'm from MI and occasionally split. On the maiden voyage home after picking up the bike in Kentucky and riding it back (7.5 hours straight) I didn't hit traffic except when I was 30 minutes from home in 35 degree weather. I was ready to get home and wasn't about to sit in the cold during rush hour, so I split for a few miles, got a few honks, but no police (then again Detroit cops have a whole lot more to worry about than a lane splitter).

Nice! Ogio makes some quality stuffs.
Just an FYI for anyone interested in the bag above, they can be had on eBay for $74 shipped, it's got great reviews, just had to order one.

Got the first service done over the weekend and also heated grips installed (got dealer to throw in heated grips and installation as part of bike purchase for free)
Also installed tail bag. Found a perfect tail bag that fits the rear seat on the FJ09 almost perfectly. Cost is around $90- $110 and holds 20ltrs. In the pictures you can see how it was installed.
[span]What brand is the tail bag? [/span]

Which model of tire are you replacing it with?Just changed my original front tire with 10,900 miles on the bike.! Pretty good, huh? (Original rear lasted 6,500). -

Thanks a lot for the feedback and specific info, I appreciate it. I'm going to be picking one up, it's the best looking touring windscreen IMO. Plus Givi quality is always top notch.
-
Any updates on how this screen performs? Looking at picking one up but would love some feedback. How is fitment, I'm 5"8 really curious if it'd be in my direct line of sight.
Also how does it look on the bike? I'm all for function over form, but at some point a massive windscreen looks down right silly.

I installed my AdventureTech light mount and LED light bar the other day.....Freekin love it! The light bar can be toggled between amber/white mode by the switch that was included with the light, which I discretely hid behind the left side handguard. Also, installed a set of Amazon rubber footpegs, which provide a vastly improved difference over the stock pegs. Also kind of hard to see behind the light bar, but I installed a Nautilus air horn....and HOLY MOLY this sucker is loud!!
Can you please post a link to that light bar and mount? Looks great, how functional is it?

Picked up my "new" FJ (213 miles on the ODO) and rode 371 miles (7.5 hours) from Hazard KY to Detroit, MI in one go with a few breaks here and there. The bike handles great on the freeway, but I already despise the windscreen. At 5'7 I was getting blasted between the eyes with wind, especially whilst passing semi trucks.
Soon to come: new windscreen & a quicklock tank bag (thinking SW-Motech).

Research
Dibs on the 39L top case, do you by chance have the part number? Want to verify it will work with my 2015 FJ-09 with Yamaha luggage rack.
Edit: After researching, I'm 98% sure it'll work between the FJ-09 and Tracer.
