Went to the Local suspension guy and set up the Sag for the
Front and rear. Now i shall ride it to see if it made a difference.

Put the radiator guard on and changed the oil at 350 miles. Man I don't know what kind of oil Yamaha Uses in their brand new bikes but it was used up like it had thousands of miles on it. Now it has a clean
Looking Yamalube in it.

...yeah, that's apparently break-in oil of some kind, and it does look terrible when done.

 
 
If i knew this would be the color and texture of the oil i would have
Done the oil change at 100 miles. Saw some very fine metal
Flakes which I know is the norm for a brand new motor.

 

I tried the regular zip ties that came with it and they were a pain to use. So I got to use two zip ties connected together as one and had more length to work with which made the job easier. I really like the FJ09 Logo on the guard.

My bike has only 30 miles on it now and this afternoon I took her out for a short spin. The oil light came on and I returned home right away. The bike ran fine but there was some black residue on the tip of the muffler. I waited 10 minutes and checked the oil level with bike on the center stand. It wasn't up to the higher mark so I added a little bit more oil to it. Cleaned up the tip of the exhaust and took her for another ride and no oil light came on this time. I Jiust don't know what the black stuff were. Am I supposed to check the oil level with it being on the center stand?

 

Bought a 2017 white color one last Friday and will be picking it up on Wednesday.
