I was doing my 12k maintenance and noticed that my front tire (PR4's) recommends PSI 42. This whole time I've been doing 42 rear/36 front, because I've been following the manual. Forgot about the tire change. Who here is running PR4's and do you run at 42 psi?
42 psi on tire is maximum rating for weight and speed, not recommended. All tire manufacturers defer to motorcycle msnufacturer for pressure recommendations for riding.

Beautifully polished headsers - down-pipes. I had same problem trying to remove oem exhaust with centerstand in place. No go.
Your Scorpion seems to have more clearance than my Yoshimura.

that is my preferred filter, especially if hot pipes restrict access for removal.@Cruizin
both the CP2 and CP3 engines use the same KN-204 oil filter

You may consider it a stupid question but over 60 years of cars, trucks and motorcycles, especially in the 50 years working on the latter, i have learned the hard way that not all filters are equal in this regard. These do appear well formed for the correct oil filter removal wrench. Not all are.

Ease of removal?

The First line oil filter is made by Rocky Mountain ATV and I have been using them over a year. No probs, good quality and the internals look even better than stock. Oil Filter fits FZ09 , FJ-09, MT 09 and MT 09 Tracer and MT 09 Tracer GT

17 tooth front sprocket is a bit tight in terms of clearance, I run a 43 tooth Renthal rear sprocket which drops the 6th gear cruising RPM by about 300. Nice thing is the 'eco' light is still on at 85mph in B mode. Plenty of chain adjustment if your chain is fairly new. A worthwhile modification and doesn't affect the acceleration at all but just calms the bike down in the lower gears.Anyone increased front sprocket by one tooth? I find first and second gear to be very short, so I quick-shift through to third even for slow urban situations. Alternative, less radical, perhaps I could drop 2-3 teeth with new rear sprocket. Require shorter drive chain or is there sufficient adjustment available?
Thanks for information. Two less teeth on rear sprocket seems worth trying before trying to fit larger up front.

Similar to Yamaha price.

Fast red UK Tracer for me! I have to say though that although I find the black/grey combo a bit boring, I do like the slightly bronzed wheels. They are a nice touch!
I would like bronze wheels. Where are they available?

Sorry to our US & Can brothers & sisters, your bikes are coloured Matte Grey & Candy Red. So please select the Euro & Australian colours instead!
Go! Get busy!
Cheers,
Steve
Also gloss metallic black in US. As have many others, I added reflective red stripes to wheels and side channel. I pick up red FZ-09 front fender at dealer this Wednesday.

Hi Folks, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to find out what colour FJ-09 you have OR would select?
The production number thread is great, but it doesn't tell us the most selected colour by you, the members!
:'( I don't have one yet....damn Australia! But I will be selecting a Matt Grey colour. It won't go any faster....it'll be fast enough! So, no replies of which colour is faster!
Just for a bit of trivia....
Cheers,
Steve
Black 2016. Added red reflective stripes to wheels and in side channel, hugger. Pick up red front fender next week.
