  1. I have a Canadian FJ09 / 2015 with 21,000km on it. Did call my dealer yesterday. They did some research with the service bulletin (I have sent him by email thanks OP for this), at Yamaha Canada. It appear that we also have the TSB over here. This is not a recall (yet?) but the will exchange under warranty the CCT if there is an abnormal condition. Mine is on order :) Quite happy with the dealer.
  2. That is not right. Looks like it is loose. Check the swing arm and relay arm for side play. If it was me I would take it to the dealer and have yamaha pay for it.

I also have the shown gap. Perhaps there is a spacer ther we can not see but it is most certainly note loose. Did you show this to technicians??

Yes indeed, they took some pictures and have sent them to Yamaha Canada. They give me back the bike saying that this was normal. They have not dismounted anything. Picture, phone call and voilà everything was fixed...

They are Yamaha specialist so.... They should know what they are talking about, ehhhh right?

If it is not getting any worst I will wait until the end of the season and inspect it myself.

  3. Hi

Just found out that my right dog bone (connecting arm) is rubbing against the relay arm. I'm trying to understand what is going in???

Fist image is the rubbing occurring, hard to see

Here is on the other side. There is a large gap between the connecting arm and the relay arm. Look like the bearing / collar are not in the centre of the relay arm.

Now how can I fix that?

    Thanks for helping.
  4. Have the same vibration. I did put 18,000 km on a 2014 FZ09 and I don't remember to feel those that much.
At first on the FJ09 I thought that a had fill up the gas tank with old (bad) gas and/or spark plug misfire / fueling issue. The vibration are really bugging me.

But since this is a Yamaha I will ride the beast and forget about it. Must be a "power charging" natural process :)

    Regards
