From the title of the thread, you want a "sport-tourer", why start with a non sport tourer and completely change it (MT-09) vs starting with a sport tourer (Tracer) and add a few upgrades? 

+1 for this. I just bought a non-GT 2019 leftover off CycleTrader for $8k pre-tax, could probably find a used one for close to $7k.

I can't say anything about the last two but I had the Metzelers for about 9k miles and they were great. Rode like a demon through wet weather. In the future I'll probably go with the Road 5's for more all around sportiness, but if I spent most of my riding touring I'd pick the Roadtechs.
