  1. I put 1/2 inch spacers under my screen in all four positions to allow more air up underneath it, using M5x0.8 30mm long screws.  It does seem to be somewhat better, especially when there's not too much traffic ahead.
I had a Givi Airflow on my '12 VStrom and loved it--it wasn't the best looking screen, but it was really effective and quiet.  Hopefully Givi will offer something in that line that somewhat integrates with the bike.

I also had a Givi Airflow on my '13 VStrom. It was fantastic! Incredibly quiet. Look back a few pages in this thread and you will see the Givi screen for the FJ - it's not an Airflow as it is only one piece. I'm tempted to buy another Airflow and drill some new holes/make some brackets to get it to fit on the FJ.
  2. I tried to order the GIVI screen and mounting kit (they sell the 2 items bundled) from http://www.accessorimotostore.com but they don't ship to Canada :(

I then tried to order below from carpimoto.

They appear to ship to Canada but when it went to display the page for my bank's MasterCard verfication the page came up blank. Tried twice and same thing :( What's even more strange is I can't find a Contact Us link on Carpimoto's page to inquire about this issue. :( :( :(
  3. I also use a neotec, but im finding it noisy compared to my previous helmet.
Could it be the noise is caused by the turbulence from poo stock screen?  Prior to my FJ, I had no issues with noise.  This changed with the FJ so I thought it was the helmet and switched to my Shoei Qwest, no noticeable difference in noise levels.  FYI, webbikeworld also rates the Neotec as quieter than most.  http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/shoei/neotec/
  4. I had an adjustable visor thingy left over from my previous VStrom and since I'm resigned to the fact the stock screen is poo I took a drill to it and attached the visor.  Looks shiet but not too shabbyy function-wise.

I experimented with various settings and in the end settled for the stock screen at the highest position and the visor set to the middle position.  My head is mostly turbulent free, seems to be dependant on the wind direction.
