Do a search on eBay for 'Blank Key Uncut Fit For Yamaha Tracer 900 GT' and any locksmith can make copies of your original. I've used some of these on my 2017 when rekeying the panniers to match the ignition, and they are stronger than the OEM keys.
I agree but only few locksmith can cut and make such keys. So, you can't rely on a locksmith at all. Call dealership for key cut and program whenever needed.
