That's a tough one.  I just visualize any possibility of contact with another vehicle, and try and push it out of my mind.  Isolate it.  Then flick the switch, and twist on it.

Update:  LOVE the tires.  Went with Metzeler Sportec M7.

As far as the choice.  Yeah.  It definitely was a conscious choice.  I did my research, and having an older brother that had some experience with one, it was a no brainer.  I really liked my 2009 Versys 650.  Great bike in it's own rite, but just not enough bike for me.  The FJ09 is all the bike I need, with the riding position and features that I prefer.  Just have to get a little bit more time on the tires I had installed last weekend, and then I can really put her through the paces.

Matte grey.  I REALLY like the way the colors are put together.  Great looking ride.

Thank you Buggy Nate!.  Now I have to find the parts to put them back  on.  New it looks like $165ish with bolts, springs and stopper. Hoping a used one will pop up. 

Hello All.  Just got a 2015 FJ09 with 14K miles.  Akrapovic Titanium exhaust.  2WDW tune. Ohlins fork cartridges. Love it.  Glad to be a part of the community.

Hello.  I searched "center stand" and didn't find anything helpful, so I figured I'd ask.  I'm new to the forum, and have recently acquired a 2015 FJ09 that did not come with center stand.  Previous owner bought the bike with the stand already removed.  Previous owner also installed the Akrapovic Titanium exhaust.  I would very much like to hear anyone's experience on this.  If it fits...I would like to re-install the center stand.  Love the bike!  Still adjusting to to it after riding a Versys 650.  This thing MOVES.
