  1. I just had the bike lowered an inch in the back, and about 35mm in the front, had heated grips and an additional 12V installed and added a RAM on the bar mounts for my Nuvi. The suspension was also set up for my weight and preference, and now the girl is like a switchblade, with surgical turn-in.

With the amount of front end drop, I had to have the black shroud around the top of the forms shaved a bit to get full lock.

The FJR cases complete the bike for day to day practicality.

It makes the bike almost a more dedicated sport tourer with a lot of errand running and commuting utility.

  2. Have him quote a price to ship anywhere in the US through USPS, and add it to the price. We can confer on time to participate, payment method and shipping dates.

Maybe others can reach out to their dealers as well. I will call the one I goy my bike from. It's cold in PA, and they may appreciate some business.

I reached out to Cruizin to see if he wants to put up a dedicated group buy sub-board.
  3. I would have no problem ethically downloading a PDF of the manual if I buy a legal hard copy. I would be allowed to format shift it anyway under fair use. But that would be personal and have nothing to do with the forum.

I would not post links here though, and as a mod, would remove any I see. We cannot come to the attention of Yamaha for any kind of possible infringement, especially since they could also try to take the forum's domain as a trademark violation in retaliation.

    Examples:

    Harley Davidson

Yamaha (Took the FZ6-forum.com domain, forcing them to change it to 600riders.com)

  4. The one on the left of the display comes standard with the bike. Adding a second one is a cheap option for the hardware, since the bike wiring harness makes it plug and play, but there is some labor involved to install it since it required the fairing be removed on that side to knock out the place for it.

It's a standard US style vehicle 12V DC power outlet.
