  1. Evotech frame sliders for new gen tracer 9gt.  I have no idea if these will work on the previous FJ/Tracers/MT09.  My thought is that they will but I do not know this.  $70 shipped.  I installed engine guards so these were removed of course.   Pics attached.

  2. Picked up a 22 tracer gt and bought the Yamahas rear rack to go on it.  Holy parts removal Batman!!  Rack is held on by 3 bolts that you have to remove almost everything on the tail section for.   I suppose the plus side is I learned a little about the bike today during the install. Anyway rant over.  Pics to come soon if anyone is interested.  I think I prefer the rack for the previous gen 100%.

  3. Pair of FJR / fj09 side cases with locks. They are grey but I plasti dipped them flat black.  Used these when I would road trip on the tracer.  These are prior pics last season before I sold the bike.  $300 obo shipped. Pics attached.   Updated pics added.

  4. Anyone have a stock 21/22 tracer 9gt seat front and back they want to part with?  Need something while mine gets redone. Not sure how long it’s going to take.  I am guessing there are a few seats sitting on shelves in garages taking up space.  Located in Indiana.  Thanks in advance.

  5. So I purchased a 22 model and am looking at adding the usual accessories.  I currently have a 19 with the rear rack installed and there appears to be what looks like a major difference.   The 21-23 model seems so much weaker than the prior years or am I completely wrong.   I wouldn’t be hauling anything heavy but just adding a “plate” with the two bolts seems like an afterthought to me.    Also shameless plug for my 19 tracer listed in the for sale section.    Thought on the rear rack as an add on for the newer gen’s??

  6. Well back from my trip using my new seat.  I had only spent a couple hours on the bike so this was go time.  I did 5400 miles in 13 days.  Indiana to California and back making a few side zig zags to see some areas.  Seat was great and no pain or hot spots for me.  Hips and back feel good.  I did use forward pegs some that I have attached to my crash bars.  At this time I have to say I am glad I spent the money.  I was really not sure if it would make a difference but I know compared to my trips in the past my body feels great.   Seat held up great and zero complaints from me.  Didn’t use an air hawk or any other kind of covering.  Just my .02.

  7. Yes it took out the forward slope.  Nice and comfy so far.  Rode today about 4 hours and it feels great.  I was using the Yamaha comfort seat while Seth had it. I can say it’s much better.  I think he had my seat about 6 weeks total.  Little longer than I was hoping for but I kind of what I expected.  He is busy however he answers calls and questions anytime.  Hard to tell in the pics I posted but I did carbon look top and silver stitching.  I didn’t have the passenger seat built custom but the rear seat is redone to match and is also much nicer than stock.   Right before the “build” he calls you and chat about what you like and don’t like about the stock seat etc.  So far I am happy with the looks and comfort.

  8. I agree with the above posters.  Typically I would say about 1500 too high but the market is demanding more money right now.  I recently bought a 2019 tracer and paid more than I typically would have during prior years (pre market spoke). But I was also not going to do without just to save a few dollars.   Buy it if it’s what you want and write it off as the cost of doing business would be my vote.   However I would also think the 7000 would be total investment after taxes.  Maybe you can talk them into a set of OEM side cases at that price?

  9. Maybe I missed something but which year does it most closely resemble and have parts? I have had both the FJ and now tracer (USA). Not sure that a slight difference in year would matter would be my thought. Only two options. But let’s see a pic of the unicorn please.

  10. I also have a handy lift.  I use canyon dancers and loosely strap my bike with tie downs. Of course I leave on side stand 99% of the time when on lift also.  I don’t squeeze the front wheel much with the vice but just enough For support.   Canyon dancer works on almost all bikes.   After the lift is up then use the kicking bar and you will see the bike is stable.  I guess I left out the fact I use the side extensions if that matters.
