  1. 2015, I just finished valve shim adjustment and upon start up I have a oil leak coming from the small hole below the exhaust port on cylinder 3. Any idea what this hole is and how it it connected to any oil?

This is a more than a leak, there was a 4" puddle on the lift in under a minute. I was just letting the bike idle when I noticed the leak.

  2. I've had the motoport Ultra Il mesh kevlar pants with the Gortex liners since 2003. They are stiff at first but do soften up with use. They are easy to get in and out of. i mainly wear them with shorts but can easily wear over jeans. I only use the liner if the day starts out raining, they can be time consuming putting them on on the side of the road  (I tend to wait too long to pull off), I use an overpant for those times.  I have had one  time when the bike didn't want to stay under me and unless it is pointed out the minor scuffing is not very noticeable. They are NOT inexpensive but I have only had the leg zippers replaced in 18 years, the stretch waist band will be done at the end of this season. I would buy these again if I had to replace them.

  3. My new holder arrived today. It will not work with my Otterbox Defender  (I assumed it wouldn't based on description) but it will most likely with a thinner case. The pockets are not tall enough to handle the thickness of the multilayer case. It does seem well built and does contain the uncased phone VERY securely. I am leaving on a multi day trip Tues. Will leave further details after the trip.

So after 30 years of riding and lot of experimenting... here is the money is no object choice:

Get your phone bluetoothed into a Sena or Cardo system

    Plug these into your ears-

under helmet earplugs, custom made in the ear stereo earspeakers, low profile for under helmet applications

Then, enjoy protection for your hearing with the ability to take phone calls and hear music on your own terms with voice commands etc.

I also have these and they work great. I upgraded from the SPlugs as I have small ear canals and they would bother me on long days. I will say I prefer  the amount of road noise I could hear with the SPlugs, the custom plugs isolate me more than I would like.

Great product and customer service, both are repairable too.
