Just got email back and they can get them in. Cost is a $130 plus taxes and maybe shipping. Thanks again for information piotrek.
Royal Distributing is a Renthal dealer up here. Call them up if you can't find the part number in their online catalog.Does anyone know good place to buy these in Canada or that will ship to Canada. I tried Fortnine and local stores but no one sells them or cant get them in. I looked at revzilla but the specs for the model is different that on renthal website.

That's the same as my wiring, and I just had the recall done, can't remember which way around they were before. Now I wondering which way is correct. I guess as mentioned before as long as they aren't tight is the important part.
Whatever way you run them the important thing is to make sure the wires are long enough that their not binding when you turn the bars all the way. I don't know if the guys that assemble these bikes would be able to think of something that complicated. What is the correct configuration? Mine came off the showroom floor with the brake side wiring in front of the risers, and the clutch side wiring behind the risers (which makes sense to keep the wiring away from the ignition switch area). I just assumed they were all delivered this way...

I thought I was the only crazy one having both screens, I did the same thing yesterday and had a awesome ride today with the sport screen on. I do like having both.I took the V-Stream Spor Touring wind shield off and mounted the new V-Stream Sport screen. And I mounted my RAM mount with my SPOT 2 tracker in it. Ready for a ride tomorrow. ?

Finally got around to installing new 2017 clutch cable, now I will keep the old one in bag for spare if I even need it. Big thanks to the people here with videos, pics and posts to help others to accomplish working on the fj09. Thanks to piotrek for the help too.

In same boat. I put 7k on my bike since April and 80% is commuting to work, Why you say, its the only method to get to work that puts a smile on my face. My tires have a lot of tread left probably for another 3-5k.With young kids and family I take what ever rides I can get when ever I can.

Thanks @keithu , that's a fair and good price to pay so a nice custom seat. I will look at that for my next seat if required. Thanks
$450 US.My I ask how much a seat like that costs @keithu . I like the idea of a custom fitted seat.

Thanks @jrkman I really like the ones from Richland Rick. I was going to get a set but shipping to Canada was almost the same price as the product it self. So need to see if someone sells out of Canada. They do look nice and very stock.

WHAT....get out there now and clock up a long ride and report back. We are all waiting for verdict. (PS: wish it was on my bike, my finger is on the buy button)
Haven't ridden on it yet.Looks very nice and premium-like...and the comfort verdict is...?

I am in the same boat, I cant ride more than 1hr on the FJ09 stock seat. looking at better seat but very limited on options. (or maybe its my built in extra padding I have and not the seat)

I will be looking at the Nelson Rigg bags too soon. I just wanted a small tail bag to use for rides to work and day trips. Will look at bigger ones for longer trips. Thanks for the pics duhs10

Got the first service done over the weekend and also heated grips installed (got dealer to throw in heated grips and installation as part of bike purchase for free)
Also installed tail bag. Found a perfect tail bag that fits the rear seat on the FJ09 almost perfectly. Cost is around $90- $110 and holds 20ltrs. In the pictures you can see how it was installed.

That seat does look comfy and a lot more padding on the seat than the FJ09.Welp, today, I traded it... Just a hair over 4,000 miles on it and decided I wanted to go naked (since all I do is commute and the wind noise/buffeting was really getting to me).
So, I got me one of these...
It's REALLY nice!
I hope I can still keep coming around here though...

When I visited the store they had a black and silver 2016, the silver one had the old pan, The sales guy didn't even know about it. I made sure it had the new pan before I brought it. I brought the showroom model so least I could see the pan first hand. The black looks awesome. Least the dealer covered the new pan for you which is good. Yamaha should be replacing all old pans I think.
Did yours come with the new oilpan? My '16 didn't. When I found that out I got my dealer to throw in the updated pan as part of the purchase. I'm going to have half the bike ripped apart the first week anyway, so not a big deal for me to install. I'm probably missing out on the newest cam chain tensioner revision too though... Oh well, at least it's black!!!I just picked up a 2016 black raven. I was going to get the discounted grey model but wanted the updated oil pan and any new updates on the 2016 model. The black one sure looks nice in person
Mark.
