Nice looking bike. I think the TKCs would be quite rumbly on pavement. I ran Shinko 705 on a trip last year, and it handled loose and packed gravel very well. Little less so in the mud... and that's where the TKCs would probably shine. I was surprised just how well the Shinkos did on pavement, although at a low speed roll you could tell these weren't road tires.
I was going to try the shinkos, I don't see the proper size for the back. What did you run? the 170's?

Bought some cases from Canadian tire, but returned them because I found some Shad panniers. It would have been s lot of work to make a bracket to fit the pelican cases.

@marcuso here are the pics.
Front...sorry these are upside down🙃
Back....
horrible lighting on that one. But you can see the difference in the lights. Front and rear are the same length, about 5 3/8".
Thanks so much!
WOW those sure are big. They don't appear as large in the pic. I thought they were under 3" LOL
Appreciate the info!

Ok I got the mt-07 led turn signals on and functioning perfectly as @CJ3cyl said they would. They look factory. All that panic on the wiring for nothing. Did some research on youtube to figure it out.
So for those that are going to do this. Splice the black to black an then splice color to color for the back leds.
For the fronts, the blue is the running lights so splice blue to blue. Black is the neg so black to black. An then color to color. Hope this makes sense. The relay posted on CJ3cyl post, the one from from revzilla, works as advertised.
Het Wallygator, do you know if there is any reason the one rear is different from the other, is it just the length of the wire, or is there an inline resistor in there? If I am going to splice wires, I would rather just use the cheaper one and save myself the $50 CAD

Toppers.
I'm wanting to update this thread, so I can touch base with locals.
I am currently on a project to install some pelican side cases, and brackets.

Best value hands down! Awesome fit and finish, sounds good. With the DB killer in, it is not loud enough to get pulled over. I think with the baffle out you might get a ticket, that is if you rev the crap out of it at the wrong time... LOL
Lots of grinding with the angle and die grinder. Once she slips on it's golden!!

It's good to see there are some members from Edmonton. I just got in the mail my for pegs, RAM phone mount and holder, and a scorpion carbon slip on exhaust. Im gonna wait till march or early April to install them, do a side by side comparison, with vids.

They don't even list Scorpion exhaust for the FJ-09/MT-09😕

Viper6 on youtube gave me the lead and the part number. He said it works, and fits the bike with the centre stand. I emailed them, got a quick response. Placed the order when I called them. They don't stock them, and have to order them in. I'll get the info. for the FJ-09, in carbon fibre, it would be the RYA101CEO

Just got my Scorpion in the mail. I am gonna wait until the riding season, so I can do a video comparison of a before and after, for sound and fit/finish.
Looks like a quality product, can't wait for the snow to melt in Edmonton.

Right on! A couple of locals!
Just wondering what you guys have done with your bikes. I'm looking to get a new seat, and exhaust. I'm just worried about getting the wrong ones for obvious reasons.
I myself have mirror extenders, larger windshield, led signals clothespin cruise control, airhawk seat pad, tidy tail, and some cosmetic things.

Hey,.
New to the forum. Just wondering if there are any members from Edmonton area? It would be good to meet up and exchange knowledge of the bikes first hand.
