  1. The main reason why i decided to get it flashed once is because the reviews were very promising. And Samios/Ivan has a policy that makes it possible to send your ECU back and get it flashed back to factory without charging money (only shipping ofc). You will get a good product without doubt, and flashing it yourself with that piece of equipment does probally come with some consequences.
  2. Ah okay that makes sense, i'll try it out and report back, thanks for the response.
  3. I've had my ECU flashed with the flash from Ivan's Performance Products. Ivan has a partner in Greece who can flash your ECU if you are in Europe (his name is Samios (Samios Motorsport)). I do recommend him, the price was around €330 if i remember correctly. This is his website: https://ecu-flashing.com/ Samios is also active on Facebook.
  4. I had my ECU flashed with Ivan's flash but even before the flash this problem occurred. I don't know if it happens in every gear but so far it has happened 2-3 times and of those times i think i was in 4th or 5th gear. The last time it happened i watched my tach go all the way towards 11-12k RPM's. I was expecting the engine to hit the rev limiter but instead it looked like it choked itself, after letting go of the throttle everything was fine though.
  5. My bike is a: Tracer 900 2018 version. A couple of times now i've accelerated and expected the bike to hit the rev limiter but instead the bike appears to loose power and doesn't make the iconic rev limiter noise. When standing still and revving in neutral (or with the clutch in) the bike will actually hit the rev limiter but when moving it doesn't. Does anyone know if this is normal behavior for the Tracer, and if it isn't if there is something i can do about it? Thanks in advance! Jasper
  6. I wanted to create this topic because some people might not know this option exists. When you want to flash your ECU with Ivans flash you could do this at Samios Motorsport in Greece, Samios is Ivan's partner for the European customers. Here is my experience/review: I've send my ECU from the Netherlands to Samios. Due to ELTA post and Corona the package was delayed BUT Samios went out of his way to pick up the parcel at the postal office. Again many thanks for this, if it wasn't for Samios the package would probally still be at the postal office. Samios flashed the ECU on monday morning and at +/- 13:00 it was already back in the airplane back to the Netherlands, the next day at 15:00 i was already back riding my bike. The ECU flash Samios did was from Ivans Performance Parts. The flash is amazing, the bike feels like it can finally do what it has been designed to do. The on/off effect i previously felt when going on and off the throttle is almost entirely gone, as for the feeling on the roundabounds and the slower parts within villages etc. The bike isn't going to get much better regarding to flashing imho. Thanks again to Samios for the great customer service! Samios Motorsport on Facebook or: https://ecu-flashing.com/
  7. I am planning to get my ECU flashed by Ivan but i was wondering if anyone knows of his partner from Greece (Samios) also flashes the Tracer 900. Some of Ivans webpages of other bikes (like the Bolt) do refer to Samios his website but the Tracer webpage doesnt. Im willing to ship my ECU to Ivan in America but since i live in the Netherlands its quite a stretch to ship.. Are there any other people from Europe on this forum who have shipped their ECU to Ivan? And how did it go regarding shipping and custom? Love to know your experience.
