Hi OneMan - How did the healtech quickshifter work out for you? Easy to install? Work well?

    Hey Greg.

I decided to go with Woolrich Racing instead, i got the quick shifter, blipper and launch control aswell as the ecu flash. It's a bullet. My twin on the other hand got the Healtech which I have tried aswell and it's works very nice. :)

Just got to make sure you press firmly with your foot so you don't end up in false neutral. But yeah the bike itself is clearly made to have the QS option with the torque the engine produces. It's great :) Stay safe from Covid my fellow bikers!

call these guys, they actually HAVE a Dyno, and are very good at what they do.... I have had 2

ECUs flashed by them now, and would not go anywhere else, PERIOD. they are in Kirkland, Wa and

their service is exemplary ....  they got my ECU at noon, ( 2019 Tracer 900 ),  Flashed it, and got

it BACK in the mail to me THAT SAME DAY  !....they also did my FZ-07 for me, same speedy service,

and it was a LOT better...

    check them out....

Slight problem tho, forgot to mention. I live in Sweden 😕

  3. Whats up riders <3'

I have thought for some time now about having my Ecu flashed. I have never had a bike or been test riding a bike that has been ecu flashed but it seems nice to have all those restrictions removed i feel like. But there is one thing i want answered.

My closest Yamaha dealer that are able to do this says that there are only the original flash or the "open" one where they, -from my understanding, just remove the restrictions. And no matter what exhaust you have, they wont tune it based from what exhaust you have.

Thats basically all they said when i asked them if they have different tunings to choose from. So should i roll with this or try to look up another place where they do this and see if i might be able to agree with the guys doing it so can decide a little bit how i want it tuned?

Or is the "open" option that they offered good enough and worth it?

Im pretty much a rookie with all this but i wanna get involved and learn more :)

! EDIT: I live in Sweden, so the majority of you who watch this post might not be from around 😣

    Thanks

You can use a universal fit ones, 2WDW sells a "bundle" with exhaust, tune and QS kit from 2 sources such as Woolich or FTecu... Even HealTech makes a pretty nifty QS...

I currently run the Woolich Race Kit on my 2015 with Graves Exhaust and even the ECU was tuned using Woolich software- Woolich is another tuning software 2WDW has in it arsenal... This is a pretty decent made QS(sensor and it's housing housing) by Cordona... And it works on both up and downshifts or GP style shift pattern... To not use the QS- just unplug the connection...

Thank u Norcal. Ive looked sekund watched reviews about the healtech Quickshifter. I think i will get one of those actually :)

  5. Hello

I've had my fj 09 tracer 2015 model for some time now, and i have noticed the throttle is really really twitchy, compared to my brother who has almost exact same bike, but it is a 2014 model. But the engine on that bike is alot "smoother". Does anyone have same experience with the 2015 model as me?

I'm thinking i should either change the chain and hoping for a better experience or simply do a flash to adjust the performance so its not so twitchy but its a alot more expensive. But if anyone have the same problem as me, maybe it is something else that needs to be done. I have no experience in fixing bikes, just to ride them.

    Best regards.
