I look at compression ratios as the ultimate indicator of what fuel grade is required.  At 11:1  and above I think 91 octane is indicated.

The Tracer 900 runs about an 11.5 to 1 squeeze.

And then there's this:  I am as cheap as the next guy when it comes to gas prices. But, when filling a tiny four gallon tank in a vehicle that gets 50 MPG I GO BIG and buy the highest octane juice they got!!!  Hey, Life is Short.

Exactly! It's only an extra $2 per fill up.

Someday I'll take one of these for a spin!

I had Shinko 705's on my Suzuki DRZ400SM, which felt "ok" on dirt/gravel roads and are great on pavement. I'm not sure I would put them on my Tracer.

Looks good! Use it for a bit and see how it works. You'll probably change the design here and there.

Yeah, too busy for me. I stripped off the factory decals the day I bought mine.

I cut the mount from 3/16" thick steel plate with a jig saw, drilled the holes, welded the nuts on and painted. The nuts don't need to be welded on, I just like to tinker.

I fabricated a custom mount to install a Shad backrest intended for a Honda PCX scooter. The backrest looks like it could be an OEM accessory. The wife says it's very supportive. 

That sounds amazing! Too bad its $900+ for a slip-on.

Fabricated a mounting plate to attach a Shad backrest. The backrest is for a Honda PCX scooter.

I'm guessing this riser will fit the non GT model of the Tracer as well?
