Well I tried to post a video but even a few second vid is too large. I assure you with the correct rectifier in place it blinks normally. The turn signals look like they belong on the bike.

So just to confirm, if I get the OEM 2021 MT07 turn signals and do the pumpkin connector swap I will have running lights?

For the front, if you get the front turn signals, yes.

Also, what about the flashing rate? This is changing incandescent bulbs to LEDs so there would likely be a speed-up in the rate of flashing without a resistor.

That is true, mine flash very fast. My LED turn signal relay has been shipped. I wasn't sure, so I didn't order one at first.

I'll be happy to show a video once I get the proper relay installed.  Anyway, the front turn signals have 3 wires for the running lights.

You need to order the MT07 front turn signals to have the running lights without more electrical mods. Sorry, no pics of the connectors. They're just soldered with heat shrink for insulation.

I know it only shows one ball mount, but there's two, left and right. Bolts right up, plug and play.

On April 22nd of 2021 I promised I'd keep you all posted on my progress. Well, I finally got around to it. Installed LED turn signals from a 2021 MT07.  They are not plug and play, as the connectors are not compatible. You have to cut the connectors off and twist/solder your pumpkin connectors to the MT07 signals. Not a big deal, though. They are, however, an exact fit into the egg/oval holes on the bike for the turn signals.  Here's pics...

My mistake, $50 shipping, $668 total.

I much prefer the looks of the 19/20 over the 21/22. 

Oil level at the top of the sight glass, only a little bubble showing. Cold mornings and just after an oil and filter change is when it happens.

To avoid the possible clutch slippage, avoid the energy conserving or resource conserving label.

If you pay attention to recommended grade and viscosities in the owners manual and change at the recommended intervals, you'll be temporarily good to go for decades and many many miles. 

Oil light came on again this chilly morning on the commute to work.  Again, just after an oil and filter change yesterday evening. This time I just ignored it and it went away within a few miles. . 

One key clarification on his comment, upon further review the one exception that he notes at 4:45 is if you are stranded somewhere without access to proper motorcycle oil that JASO MA/MA2  will work temporarily if you're left with no other alternatives.

Of course it will work temporarily.  People have been using non-motorcycle oils for decades and many many miles with never an oil issue. 😉

I always liked the Dunlop Roadsmart.  Coming from OE tires to the Dunlops was just a night and day difference. Last year when the OE's ran out of tread I slapped on a set of Metzler Roadtec Z6's for the price point. I must say no regrets and I'll be getting another set. 

I have a set on mine. I'm quite impressed with them when cranked over and scraping the edge of your boot. Very predictable and confidence inspiring.  Not the latest and greatest?  lol as if most riders could push this tire to its limits. 🙄  I'll be getting another set when these wear out.

Was thinking those LED turn signals on 2021 Tracer 900 might be closer to a “direct swap” for our bike. Looked at the parts diagram for both MT-07 and Tracer 900 and noticed that although Tracer 900 seems to has LED turn signal but it requires additional flasher stay and damper. 
 

They were on back order and I didn't receive them until October.  I opened up the box just a few days ago and the connectors are different.  Not a plug and play. I see solder and heat shrink in my future.

I'm 240 and the wife is 170. The Tracer does fine for a day trip, but wouldn't want to do a multi-day trip two up.

I paid $7,399 for a brand new 2019 in 2020.

To me, it is gear wine.

My rear OEM lasted 4.1K miles (best I've ever gotten out of an OEM). Putting on Metzeler Roadtec Z8's.

They always felt vague and not confidence inspiring, though a recent WV and VA ride I pushed it to respectable lean angles. They stuck, but glad to be moving on to better rubber.
