Well much appreciated the booster plug input.I think I will be one of the first ones in GR to test the dynojet 3 and will let you know.Ideally I would have a friend in the States to send it for me and this way pay only 399 but unfortunately I dont.

Anyway as we computer engineers always try to use the configuration maximums of the servers we support I guess I should likewise use the dynojet 3 for getting the maximum out of power and diagnostics on a regular basis.

Have you tried the dynojet yet?

A good option here, if you just want to tamper down that twitchiness on/off throttle, is a Booster Plug.

The bike already had a booster plug installed from the previous owner when I bought it, I actually haven't tried it without, must be way worse then.

Maybe its also related to inappropriate riding style but I still think the balance of the bike is disturbed to much when going on off the throttle especially while cornering.

I have exactly the same one coming (as well as the drill bit and some anti rust paint).

I'd be interested to hear your experience with rain on this charger. Can it still get under the cap or is this one really waterproof?

I have been driving in rain, parking the bike outside and washed the bike. So far it's still showing voltage, but I actually  don't know if it still works with regards to charging, because I stopped using it after I installed a holder with built in wireless charging.

  4. When I installed this voltmeter/charger on mine.

I had to use a step/cone drill and tried to catch the metal scrapings with paper. To prevent rust on the mild steel bracket I used some frame touch up paint.

Does the new multi screen dash give you Miles to Empty?  That may be worth the $2000 upcharge alone ;)

or at least a tank gauge that doesn't show full tank until it's half empty, like on the 2015 model.. Don't know if that's better on the newer models

I admit, I am struggling with that dash though.

Instead of one solid area to keep clean - there are now 4. Ugh.

I can't quite tell, but it appears to be a large bolt head smack dab in the middle between the 2 screens. You know, right where your eyes will look when you look down.  😕

I can't judge if there would be room enough to mount a phone in vertical orientation in between the two displays, but that would make for cleaner look than having it on the handlebars.

  7. I'm thinking about doing the switch and since my clutch has 37.000 miles on it, it would probably make sense to order new friction plates as well instead of reusing the old. So on top of the partshark kit I should order 6x frictions plates 5TA163210000 and 7x clutch plates 5VY163250000 right?

Just asked my local dealer in Denmark for the price of the partshark kit:  906 $ ! It will be way cheaper just to import from the states and pay the shipping + tax..

Anyone know if this knuckle joint (photo) can be tightened? My RH side is a pretty sloppy fit, and I need to adjust every time I ride over a nasty rail crossing or such. The socket piece has some movement, but only about 1/8 turn at best (with dead stop resistance), and doesn't seem to make any difference. Will buy new mirror(s) if needed, but if there is another way...

I was able to rotate the mirror itself 360 degrees clockwise around that joint and that seems to have tightened it up

  9. I just purchased the OBDLink MX+ and an 4pin to ODB cable but I can't get it to work. I can connect to the adaptor but both torque and OBDlink app says the adaptor cannot connect to the ECU.

If I leave the adaptor in and start driving the ECU will get angry and starting to showing error 21 coolant temperature error in the display together with the check engine light, even though the temperature is shown on the display and is okay.

    Anyone had similar problems?
