It might be my posture, it might be my sensitive nethers, maybe its a crappy expensive gel seat pad, but until I can buy a cushy new custom saddle, how do I protect my not quite ass but not yet balls from being worn raw in the 100+ mi range?

I just Plasti-dipped the four red body panels on my 2020 GT. Easy to do and easy to undo.
I'll probably paint it black when the Plasti-dip doesn't look as good.

Sexy. I'm torn on spraying my side panels or just "leaning in" to the red/orange color. Is plastidipping just a matter of clean, edge off, and spray with a good several coats?
Whats the tank pad, seat, sliders? -

Did you do it or did you skip the TBS?
I called around to other dealers and got much more reasonable rates $200-300 but ran into the same wait time issues. I'm definitely changing my oil and filter because I crossed 600 this weekend. Looking at the manual the only other things I can't do myself is synch the throttle bodies, and I think check/adjust the valves clearance. And, I'd bet money even the dealer quoting me $500 wouldn't do that anyway unless given a reason like an error code or if I said it was running rough.
So, plan is oil and thorough inspect on my own, talk to a 3rd party mech that I trust. Possibly take to dealer that's booking (only) two weeks out or said 3rd party mech to check throttle synch and valves. -

Never understood the whole break in thing, the engine has in fact already been run to redline at the factory on a dyno. Just ride it normally for about 600 miles and do an early oil/filter change, makes no sense to baby the engine for no good reason.
They very good reason to not run your engine above 5600rpms for a prolonged period of time is because the owner manual said to and if you just spent that much dough on a brand new bike it's prudent to listen.

I just got quoted $500 from the dealer where I bought my new 2020 Tracer 900 GT 🤯
Rode a T9GT at Yamaha demo...kind of blown away

man, all really a matter of perspective and experience huh? I came from a GSXR and by comparison my Tracer is BUTTER smooth in low rpms.
