docsimple
Having a bizarre experience bleeding the front brakes. I switched the lines out for aftermarket lines. I am using a pneumatic brake bleeder. The line from the ABS is outside the loop that goes to the furthest caliper. I have bled the lines so that the farthest caliper is running clear fluid. However the brake caliper closer to the ABS will not run clear. I have run a bottle and half of brake fluid so far! PLEASE HELP! 2015 Red FJ 09 2013 WR250R - little boy blue - sold 2012 DL650 V Strom - sold 2007 FZ6 - sold 1986 FJ600 - sold
kd7vdb
When having problems on bleeding abs systems on cars I always brake hard in a low traction area (grass, gravel, etc.) and make the pump run. Problem is that locking up the front wheel usually leads to disaster on a motorcycle.
docsimple
Well last night I pumped the brake handle then zip tied it to the bar. This morning I opened the valve and air came out. I then rode the bike in my neighborhood making the ABS kick on a couple times. Came back bled the air. Then 3 times pumped the brake handle, held it and bled the air. By the second it was a straight stream of brake fluid. Did the extra just to be sure. This brake system has been a bear. 2015 Red FJ 09 2013 WR250R - little boy blue - sold 2012 DL650 V Strom - sold 2007 FZ6 - sold 1986 FJ600 - sold
