madeuce216
For those in the central Florida area (and those that don't mind the trip over) the Osceola County Sheriff's dept offers a monthly safety and handling course. The course centers around slow riding, breaking etc. The course is taught by active motor officers and is totally FREE. I took it last year and thought it was fun and difficult (I highly recommend some type of sliders or crash bars). There is no limit to the amount of times you can take the course. You can go once a month if you like. Course runs Jan-Oct. Details and sign up info can be found here http://www.osceolasheriff.org/sheriff/113-14385-24255/smart_motorcycle_safety_course.cfm Here is a link to an older video I found on youtube of someone taking the course.
