  1. I got a 2019 Niken GT but it's oil has been sitting for 1+ years. It has nearly 4k miles. I purchased this engine flush but I'm not sure if this is appropriate given the circumstances(it is compatible with a wet clutch system). The main thing I noticed was condensation coming from the exhaust on start ... anything anyone can suggest to me doing going forward? What i'm doing so far: Changing Oil + Filter Changing Coolant Link: Liqui Moly 20050 Engine Flush Motobike - 250ML

Hi @norsie, and welcome.  I would suggest that you post your questions in one of the forums, since these status updates are sometimes hard to notice or follow.

That said, I would just drain the oil & refill with a fresh batch of good quality synthetic motorcycle oil.   12-18 months isn’t really that long to be sitting up, and I’ve left a few mothballed for much longer than that with no issues.

I don’t have any experience with the motor flush, so can’t really comment one way or the other.   I assume you add that to fresh oil as part of an oil change, run it for a short period, then drain?

@texscottyd Ah thanks for the tip. Yes! From what I'm reading it generally is okay for wet clutches as well. What people will do from what I've read elsewhere with the Liqui Moly is partially drain the old oil, add the suggested amount based on volume and then run it for about 10 mins to cycle. Then drain the oil and flush it out completely with a new batch of oil, run for another 10, then finally add the new oil...lot of wasted oil if you ask me but people seem to be happy with the results.

From what I saw there was a bit of condensation coming out of the pipes as well, anything to watch out for or mainly just change the oil?

EDIT: Adding the  post link here  🙂
