Yamaha has came a long ways with their valves when I started riding street bikes in the 80’s they were notorious for needing adjusted. The viragos were horrible and I had a 400 special that needed adjusted seemed like every season.

GM needs to make their Dino powered vehicles dependable before they make any more EV’s.

Oh great mine is affected.

I guess I’m a little paranoid about it because I generally don’t like to buy used bikes. I got a good deal on it from a friend so wasn’t real concerned. A lot of new technology I wanted but not used to at the same time. The quick shifter is the tits by the way.

I experience the same click on my '22 T9GT.
Clutch is adjusted properly so never gave it a thought.
Thanks for the response. I just didn’t want to be hurting anything since I bought it used.

No it is with normal shifting sometimes up and most of the time down that I feel the click. When I use the quick shifter I’m not touching the lever. It’s mostly on a clutch downshift.

When I shift, especially down shift, I can feel it through the clutch lever. It’s like a click. Is this normal? I’ve never had a quick shifter and am wondering if this is a characteristic. The clutch seems to be adjusted correctly. I did buy the bike used. Thanks.

Does anyone else have issues with the gas light coming on prematurely on their Tracer 9 GT?
I reset my trip meter every fill-up, and the most recent one seemed very premature compared to other fill-ups. I was getting ~45mpg out of a full tank, but at 170 miles the fuel light came on and the indicator started blinking at me. I read in the manual it's supposed to come on when there's only .76 gallons of fuel left but when I filled it at the gas station the tank was full after only 3 gallons of gas (4.9gal capacity)!
The math doesn't quite work out, but I included it below.
45mpg / 170mi = 3.77gal used
3.77gal - 4.99capacity = 1.21gal fuel left
So did my gas light come on with 1.22 gallons left, or is it impossible to get the last 1/2 gallon of fuel into the motorcycle and I'll almost always be running on 4.5 gallons?
Has anyone else had this issue or is it worth tracking and contacting my dealership if I keep noticing the light coming on presumably prematurely?
Same. My vstrom had 5 bars and each represented almost exactly one gallon with no surprises. My 21 goes from good to blinking quick.

They are eBay specials. I’ve used them many times in the past. My problem with the oem controls is I was having trouble keeping two fingers on the grips. These fixed that perfectly especially with the brake. Trail braking should be easy now. One this is the clutch leaver has to be slightly modified. But for 25 bucks shipped I can do that.

I’m too tight to own something undependable and expensive to fix.

I have the oem top case and rack although I haven’t hauled a load in it I still can’t tell it’s there. Very pricey though.

This is the first Japanese bike I’ve owned that the seat is actually comfortable on that I can remember. If the comfort seat is better I’d like to try it.

Haha. The only thing I didn’t like about the looks is the absence of something up front. This is better imo.

Alixpress have to look it up my buddy with an account ordered it for me. I will try to take a pic underneath but basically it’s a metal skeletal frame that bolts on to the existing front fairing bolts then it has caps over screws that you take off and put back on after you bolt the beak to the frame. Easy peezy. I don’t know about the 900 gt have to enter your bike info. Probably though.

No it’s the foot pegs. Pitiful small and bare metal.

The only complaint from my passenger are the pitiful foot pegs. Anyone know of a decent replacement? I’ve had zero luck searching.

Oh, I get it. I thought it was actually anoher location to view the speedometer. Thanks a lot.

Yes and Thanks. The speedo is a little hard to see wanted to display it high on the left.

They are cool bikes and if money and room was no option I’m not saying I wouldn’t own one. But didn’t do it for me as my only bike at the time.
