  1. Thanks all above for replying (I was away for a few days. Not on the bike unfortunately). I wasnt looking for Aux power, found that left side front fairing, due to previous posts. Exactly the same as The Cheese above. I am aware of - switch and am preaty sure I only tested with a meter. May be a coincidence, but I doubt it.
  2. The lights look like these on ebay, although I have not removed them.
  3. Thanks Heli. I nhave had a look at that topic. The front light assembly is different and the engine has been runing. Stuart.
  4. Hi. I took delivery of a new Tracer 9 GT + last month. I think it is great. After trying to find a wire with the high beam switched signal (mistakenly at the headlight not high beam light!) I noticed that the headlight is not working! "All" I did was tap into the headlight wires (individualy) and test for voltage. The headlight fuse (in the main box) is ok. The high beam works. I have a complete circuit (resistance) when checking across the disconected headlight unit. There are no obvious signs of loose connectors. Any advice appreciated. Stuart.
  5. Hi. If you are in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, UK I recomend the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorcycalists) who provide training to Advanced Civilian level. Glasgow North meet weekly in Springburn. Glasgow South in East Kilbride. I never dropped my bike during the course. They have Slow Mo days once a year which is manovering about cones. I have seen the odd bike dropped there. Regards. Stuart.
  6. Hi new to the forum here. Previously in the FJR forum having two FJR 1300's, one after the other, over six yearts. Just bougt a Tracer 9 GT+, which I am enjoying. Shinny side up. Stuart.
  7. Hi.

I bought a Tracer 9 GT+ with the Pro Pack a month ago. Bike came with a GPS stay, which was useless as it reduced access to inserting and removing the key.

I took the stay off and added a RAM mount type ball (Ultimate Add Ons) which alows me to use RAM mounts. I use my Garmin Zumo XP.

I did try the Garmin Motorise service but did not like the three or four thinks you needed to do to connect each time, and the connection kept droping.

    Stuart.

Hey, Stuart, that is useful information!

I had to search for a couple of things.  I had no idea what 'Ultimate Add Ons" was, but I found ultimateaddons.com.  I'm thinking that is what you meant.

And, I found Ram Mounts: rammount.com

I looked at both sites, and I'm not sure exactly what your setup is.  Do you have a picture, or a better description of where/how you mounted the GPS?  Mine is a Zumo XT.
