  1. I own this bag, and I can say that it fits perfectly on the FJ. Sure it's a little pricey, but there are some neat features and quality construction to help justify the cost.
  2. Different strokes for different folks! 8-) Pick the option that works best for you.
  3. TheTuono mirrors are some of the most stable that I have encountered. Easy to see what is behind you.
  4. I wouldn't recommend the knock off mirrors from China. Buy from AF1.
  5. Don't overlook the option to replace the mirrors altogether. I replaced mine with Aprilia Tuono mirrors (BMW sells them too), and the slightly larger head and wider mounting proved to be the perfect thing for me. It did require adapters to change the thread direction on the right side. Mirrors from AF1 racing in Texas and the adapters from MikesXS. Total cost about $70.
  6. Last minute ride planned for Alice's Restaurant in Woodside 9:30 AM. Breakfast then ride after if you want.
  7. I'm working with the folks at Barkbusters (Rideworx Pty Ltd) to get an application developed for the FJ-09. Hopefully they will put something together for us that will better clear the touring windshields, as well as offer better wind protection and impact resistance.
  8. I had them on my ST 1300, Kawasaki Concourse C14, and my 1250 Bandit. Great all 'round tires.
  9. Hello Modesto, Get up to Copperopolis and get some BBQ at Griffs. Good roads and good food.
  10. I have not done it yet, but was wondering about the Barkbuster Storm hand guards. I put those on my KLR and loved them. I'm not sure if the "frame" is long enough to reach around the switchgear controls.
  11. That's what I thought too. It's different for sure and its growing on me.
