If the original poster doesn’t take those, I would be interested.   I’m running the OEM Yamaha FZ9 steel bar end weights on my FJ now… They work fine, but those Rhino Motos look nice.

I actually have 2 identical sets. I forgot I had one and stupidly ordered another one. Then I sold the bike. Duh!

    PM me to discuss.

  3. Just noticed this today after coming home from a 200 mile ride. 2020 GT with 6100 miles, cruising around 65 mph and there is a felt cyclical vibration that is enough to make the windscreen vibrate in the same cycle. Put it on a lift and spun both wheels to rule out a wheel bearing, and while spinning the rear I noticed a little play in the countershaft in gear and in neutral. I checked my FZ10 to see if it was the same, and it is tight with no play. I know how to maintain bikes (I've had and maintained all 50 of them over the past 53 years) so my chain was not too tight ever. I'm hoping that this is not a countershaft bearing. Hate to do it, but to the dealership it goes tomorrow...

A well known and great sadness of our time is the serious collapse of insect populations. Those old enough remember when a drive through the countryside meant you would have your radiator and window covered in dead bugs. Now days, it's rare. The collapse of insect populations is well documented, and the result of insecticides used on farms and loss of habitat in other areas. And though not many people love insects like I do, we all depend on them for the functioning of nature as we need it.

So don't mind a lot of bugs on your windshields, but feel sad we contribute to their demise. Our world without bugs is a world without humanity. Sorry to get all serious, but I keep reading of insect population declines around the world and it is a serious and scary happening.

    I still hate love bugs.
