I thought I’d try to loosen the lock nuts and adjust the length myself but both locknuts seems locked solid, and I don’t want to use too much force while the bike is still under warranty.
Vic, the lower locknut, swingarm side, has left-hand threads and the rod length, center to center, is 114 to 116 mm.
hope this helps

To be blunt, this is something that Lust needs to cover in their installation instructions. Omitting this step is a big F-up in my eyes.
if you’re going to sell a product, support it!the service manual covers resetting the linkage to the correct length, BTW. I think it’s under the Suspension section. Do that, then perform the set up as @Kchan covered above.
-Skipyou're right about Lust instructions, there's no mention about the suspension calibration and it should be .

That's big bu****it, suspension calibration is well described in owner's manual so it's not for dealers only , and I don't think failed simply meant nothing to calibrate, that's a stupid answer .Maybe a call to Lust Racing will helps you with this calibration problem .

OK, let we know what was the problem !

Yes that's what I'm talking, the bracket also is positioned correctly , may be remove the bracket nut on the swing arm and check if the sensor arm move easily, put the nut back and try a calibration. Do you know if the dealer did a calibration with succes after the lowering kit installation ?

The arm seem positioned correctly, so this not the problem, there is a rod between the arm and the swingarm, is the lower rod bracket tab is against the projection in the swingarm?
-
ok, can you take a photo of the angular position sensor arm, this is the sensor near the rear shock just above the chain on the left side of the bike .

Lowering kit is not the problem, I have installed the same kit on my T9 and the calibration was "succes" , did you put the bike on the center stand before the calibration?

Thanks

Wintersdark
Thank you very much for the information, I have a NoMar tire change bar also, I'm happy that you can compare between the two tools and found easier the Bulter head, I'm seriously thinking about buying one !
Thanks.

Wintersdark, Thanks for link, did you place the order directly from the company or via Ebay? This tire changer seem to be well made.
Thanks

Pretty sure I will be ok, it’s not the only forum on the planet but I would like to know why what I said bothers you? Maybe you could suggest something to him or just keep on saying stuff like you’ve been doing, you seem to be good at it.
Something like your first suggestion? He ask for solutions proven and tested by others here , since I didn't do anything related to lowering on my bike I don't suggest things to do, that's it!

Mans got to know his limitations and I believe with the Tracer you have exceeded yours. My father is 88 and I remember he called me back when he was around 80 to ask if I could come to his house and crank the chainsaw.......no way! If you can’t crank it you sure can’t use it. You said you were having a hard time getting on the bike, maybe it’s time for a trike. Bash away
I can't wait to see the answers the next time you ask for help on this forum !

Choose another bike
I'm sure he must have considered this option before asking the question !
