Got the R2 with remote preload, but only because it was s/hand (a few months old and rider was exactly the same weight). and just a tad more than a new R1. I do think the R1 is plenty good enough if your just using it on the road.. As an aside, I'm in uk, and Nitron were sooo helpful, considering I told them I wasn't the original purchaser. Top guys, and shock was just great on their stock settings.

Thanks piotrek, same here, 2x10w Cree. I use them really just to create more of a presence. Seemed simple and obvious to me using connectors already there. Why the heck did others make it seem like wiring up a space station, considering the guy asking had little electrical experience ? Thought I might have missed something obvious, thanks for confirming, and good riding.

Could someone point out what I'm missing here ? There seems to be some very complex answers here for something I found quite easy ? I had two led spots 10w. I've wired them into one of the spare grey aux connectors behind dash which Is already fused at 2amps. I used a simple male plug from ebay for this. They've been working fine, so why the complicated wiring from other posters ? Is my way going to cause problems ?

Not that it matters to me, but the helmet in my pic with drop down, is gold ACU (racing) rated.+1 to what others said re fit.
If Snell is important to you (it isn't to me, consider it marketing bs) that's going to be a factor. Last time I checked they still weren't certifying anything with an internal visor.
Personally, will never own another helmet without an internal visor for street riding. Like the value for money with Scorpions and have been using them for several years now.

Nice one ? How the heck did you tear your cuff ? Guess the tracer helps, a very light clutch. BTW, What's the bike in your avatar ?and my wife ? -
I've got to say, M.roads are the tyre that changed the bike. The 4's were a revelation on mine, so impressed (unusual) they're now on my sports bike as well. The handling went up a notch, more grip and more feel in wet and dry. Mileage is so good for a grippy type. The dunlops felt wooden in comparison. The 5's are supposed to be a bit better. I went with 4's as there were some deals to be had due to the 5's coming out, just watch the date stamps if you go that route.Think Michelin Road 5 and never look back. Best set owned ever and proven themselves from Florida to Alaska at frequent higher than allowable speeds and frequent deluges. 8100 miles, no punctures. Likely a little more pricey. -
Mmmm. Not sure about Mr Creosotes viewpoint. Here's mine in close up . You decide. But if the helmet doesn't fit properly, it's not going to matter anyway. I tend put sena a bit further back on any helmet, to stop wind noise. Putting my hand back another 2" doesn't make any difference to operation for me.Not so brilliant as the positioned the slider for the drop down right where you want your BT commander unit...

I had IS- 17, large, great fit initially, but loosened up too much quite quickly. Also internal visor spring return went weak leaving it halfway up.Seemed a big shell and lots of padding with a bit of a round shape, medium was too tight on forehead. Bought RPHA 11, medium, very snug fit, more oval, and still doesn't move at speed, brilliant helmet, light but no drop visor. Now bought RPHA 70 (piotrek pic) which is same fit as 11 but with visor, just a tad heavier. So...I'd give thumbs up to rpha 70, pic below, but that's just for my head shape. Therein lies the problem of recommendations, were all different. Btw. Some complain of internal visor misting. I use mine slightly down, like a car sun visor.

I've got road pilot 4's on my sportsbike, lasted ages and gripped brilliantly in wet and dry. Best tyre I've ever had period. It was almost like I'd upgraded suspension. Why not 5's ? Well, I found recent dated 4's on offer. Will be putting these on tracer(fj09) unless none left, then I'll put 5's on. Really surprised at how a very grippy tyre can last so long.
