  2. So i passed my test around a month ago but i have rode bikes before so my first bike was the ducati multistrada 1200s and my last ride was 300 miles around 2 weeks ago and my index finger on my left hand is numb still now doesnt feel like my finger.

So anyways sold that and bought a Tracer 900 GT 2018/19 iv come back from a ride of 100miles and my finger is numb but worse also the finger next to it and a little in my thumb. My Right hand now and again goes numb but when i take my hand off drop it down lift it back to the grip it feels fine

Left elbo also has a pain in it i have had my bike setup few days ago with correct lever heights etc and its still causing me some pain problems to the point i want to trade it in.

Anyone know a fix for this or can explain why the problem is happening.

PS the seat also kills my butt after 45 minutes of riding ( stock & heated comfort ) tried them both.

Put a cable tie around the front fork leg, just tight enough so it can slide when pushed. Set it at the top of the stanchion, just below the seal. Go for a ride where you brake a lot and then check where the cable tie has slid to. If it has gone to the bottom of the stanchion you need to add preload until this cable tie routine gives you about 10-15mm of travel left (for the day you hit a massive pot hole or pull a huge stoppie). That sets the front preload.

If after doing this the forks are too bouncy, add compression damping until it calms down.

For the rear, you’ll need to measure static sag (lots of references on youtube) and again, once that’s done, add damping until you lose the rapid bouncing feeling.

Thankyou ill give this a try

@sp0okz  I haven't had time to send my ECU off to Ivan yet.  I already know the review will be tremendous as are all of Ivan's reviews.  There is no reading of the ECU to be done.  You mail the ECU to Ivan in South Carolina and he sends it back to you flashed the same day he receives it.

I dont fancy sending ECU off to have it mapped is there any software I can read data with and send him the un tuned file and get it tuned and reload it back

Friend remaps cars but its via obd etc dont think bike has same obd could use k tag if I can find the pin outs might email him

  6. Hey All,

I passed my test around a month ago and jumped into the deep end and got a Multistrada but it was a bit much for me so i traded it for  tracer 900 GT im a chunky monkey and the suspention seems to be very soft as on the ducati it auto ajusted it's self and i dont know too much about the ajustments yet on bikes.

Im 252lbs i feel when i back off the throttle i slide forward or when breaking also front end seems very soft and also i feel like im getting bounced all over on normal roads with few bumps in them

any help i will be good thanks
