  1. @PhotoAl thank you for the reply and photo, seems like that slot may line up fairly well to loosen up the bolt. SRC’s website mentioned access to it but does not list the Tracer GT so I was not sure. I didn't really want to have to drop the plate for regular oil changes.  It looks like SRC really did a nice job designing and mf’g it. Safe travels!

I finally got of my butt and had the suspension set up on my GT. I have been using Washington Cycle Works in NJ ( they specialize in race and track-day bike suspension work) for quite a few of my bikes and I'm a big fan of their work. I knew the stock set up was off but I didn't realize how far off it was. The one hour ride home turned into three and half hours on everything from twisty's to rough back roads. I'm more than happy for now with the suspension and can't wait to put on the PR5's sitting in my garage.

I just picked up a Tracer,  and have heard good things about WCW. What work did he do for you? I’d like to have them sort mine out as well. Thanks for the advice.
have fun on the new tires and suspenders!

  3. Thanks for the replies gentlemen but I really just wanted to use the simple/small one included with the bike as a hook, I do not really need a long cable or any security.
By the way, this is my first Yamaha street bike and it rocks! I could not be happier with the New Tracer.  Coming off of a old but fast ( for its age ) Kawasaki 900 Eliminator which only like going straight albeit, quickly.
