  1. Well I'll do my best but understand, there's a big difference between ELECTRICAL systems of a motor vehicle and ELECTRONICS. ;-))
  2. Thanks everyone for the info...Not interested in connecting anything else...I'm just curious as to what kind of power overhead exists on this bike, now I know. More power than I foresee ever needing. BTW I am an electronics professional...
  3. Greetings: Just wired my 900GT so I can use my electric vest which takes about 5Amps... and it got me to wondering how much power is available. Has anyone here looked into this, is it documented somewhere? Just how much farkle can I put on this bike? TIA, Guy
  4. I bought some cheap generic reader at an auto parts store...might not be legal in Canada ;-))
  5. thanks for the offer but I'm going to get one for myself.
  6. All is well once again with my bike . Received the OBDII adapter today and after a couple minutes the Check Engine Light was gone, I once again had access to the Menu system and the QS indicator was back. Anyone have a list of the fault codes and their meaning? Thanks all.
  7. Thankyou sir...that puts my mind at ease; now will ride the bike and anxiously await delivery of my adapter.
  8. No access to the Menu...the wheel/button gets no response which I find strange.
  9. where would this code appear? somewhere on the bikes display?
  10. Greetings: So I disconnected my battery to install a cable for the electric vest. Now of course the Check Engine Light is on; after reading several posts I see that that is normal. But no mention of the menu access problem... Anyone else had this issue? I've ordered an adapter cable for the OBDII reader so I can clear the Engine LIght. Thanks, Guy
